After welding in the new front and testing all doors etc. for best fit the painter started smoothing out all parts of the car. making sure it will look as much as possible like the car that came from the factory (or perhaps better).

It took a lot of tweaking. As the gaps are sometimes a nightmare when you use parts from several cars, even if they are all original Volskwagen parts.

But after changing out de doors twice, aligning everything together, we had a winning composition with the littlest need for bondo on the panels. Meaning he could start flattening out everything.

Its one of those moments when you are happy you saved so many parts in the past…..
